First time outside

A bit of clear sky last night, took it out onto the patio for a quick play. Managed to kind of see some stars through the eyepiece. Stars still look like tiny dots and nothing interesting such as galaxies or nebula.

Took a picture the phone adapter, not quite what I expected. I probably need to wait and start with the moon, maybe a bit easier to line up and focus on.

A star.... (or it could just be a spec of dust on the lens)
